What ages do you work with?
I routinely work with children and young people aged 3 to 18 years of age.
No, no GP referral needed. Patients and parents can self-refer. Just contact me using the contact page.
Yes, this is my preferred method of delivering therapy for individual clients, but I can provide online options if needed for individual clients. I can also complete visits in school when capacity allows.
How much does does speech therapy cost?
The initial online consultation is free. Fees vary depending on the type and length of assessment or intervention. A full breakdown of costs will be provided following the free initial online consultation.
What happens at the first appointment?
The initial online consultation will include a basic case history, discussing needs and goals, getting to know you and your child, and dicussing best options moving forward.
The initial face to face appointment usually involves developing a better understanding of your case history, your child's needs and building a rapport with you and your child using play based activities. We may also discuss goals, assessment and treatment options. This may change depending on your childs needs. We can discuss this further during the online consultation.
Yes! I am experienced in writing reports to be included in EHCP or ERSA applications. I write these using the format requested by most local authorities with a clear breakdown of recommended hours of SALT provision, with strategies, and recommended outcomes.
